Recruiter License Types
LinkedIn Recruiter also offers two types of licenses: Hiring Project Creator and Hiring Project Collaborator.

Hiring Project Creator
According to LinkedIn, this license can be combined with paid permissions and allows recruiters to:
- Create projects
- View candidates’ profiles
- Move candidates through the pipeline
- Message applicants and media leads

Hiring Project Collaborator
This license can’t be combined with paid permissions. It only allows you to be added to projects and to review candidates in the pipeline within the projects that were shared with you.
Permission Types in LinkedIn Recruiter
There are two types of permissions on LinkedIn Recruiter: limited and unlimited.
Limited permissions
Recruiter Searcher
This functionality allows you to search the entire LinkedIn network and send InMail messages.
Candidate Pipeline Searcher
Candidate Pipeline Searcher allows you to search for candidates that have been added to the pipeline of a hiring project.
Unlimited permissions

Based on the type of license you have, there is a list of what is available or not.

Public Notes Viewer
With Public Notes Viewer, you can add public notes to a candidate profile. If you use the collaboration functionalities, your team will be able to see them.
LinkedIn Recruiter vs. Recruiter Lite
Whenever you hear about LinkedIn Recruiter, you will hear about Recruiter Lite as well. The main difference between them is the number of search filters, the monthly number of InMails, and the available options to share data and accounts.
For example, with Recruiter Lite, you have only 20 filter options, while Recruiter has 40+. Moreover, Lite doesn’t offer you a skills assessment filter, search insights, or access to candidate and company insights.
